Microreaction technology is moving forward

In the past decade, MicroReaction Technology (MRT) developed from a R&D tool of mainly academic interest to a powerful and reliable instrument for process intensification and daily laboratory research work.

With the Modular MicroReaction System (MMRS), Ehrfeld Mikrotechnik BTS has created a well-established standard and introduced this powerful technology successfully to numerous laboratories worldwide. Now MRT finds its way to pilot and production plants of the chemical and pharmaceutical industry. MRT enables a fast and reliable scale-up and the economical continuous production, especially of small and medium product amounts.

Ehrfeld Mikrotechnik BTS has launched new microstructured – so called – interface reactors: The Lonza FlowPlate™ Lab and the Miprowa® Lab. These small lab modules, used at the early stage of process development, contribute to a fast and safe scale-up of reactions in pharmaceutical and chemical processes.
