Data protection declaration

We will maintain the control over, and the responsibility for, the data that you have provided to us. We could, however, possibly have your data processed on a different server and in countries such as, for example, the USA. Should their data protection laws differ to your accustomed legislation, we will ensure that the data processor in that country takes appropriate technical and organizational measures so that also, in comparison to your country, a reasonable data protection level is attained.

Uses
We will only use the personal data acquired from you to provide you with the wanted product or service, or also for other purposes for which you have given us your consent, as long as there are no legal obligations to the contrary.

Right of access and correction
You have the right to check and correct all data that refer to your person that have been saved by us when, in your opinion, they are out of date or incorrect. An e-mail to the e-mail address given in the imprint or to the data protection manager (address and e-mail address below) suffices for this.

Right to revoke
You have the right to revoke your consent to the use of person-related data with effect for the future. An e-mail to the e-mail address given in the imprint or to the data protection manager (address and e-mail address below) suffices for this.

Data retention
We save person-related data for as long as is necessary to carry out a service that you wanted or for which you have given us your consent, provided no legal obligation to the contrary exists, such as current legal proceedings.

Use of cookies
Cookies are seated in some areas of the web site to be able to present our performancies to you in a more individual way. Cookies are answer-back codes that a web server can send to your computer to identify it for the period of your visit. Most browsers are so adjusted that they automatically accept cookies. You can, however, deactivate the saving of cookies or adjust your browser so that it informs you on the seating of cookies.

Security
Bayer applies technical and organizational security measures to protect the data you have made available against accidental or deliberate manipulation, loss, destruction and access by unauthorized people. In the case of the collection and processing of personal data, the information is transmitted in coded form to guard against misuse by third parties. Our security measures are continually revised correspondingly to technical developments.

Children
The protection of the privacy of children is an important theme. Because of this, we do not process or use any information from people who we know to be under 13 years old on our web site, unless we have previously obtained the verifiable consent of a legal representative. On request, the legal representative can look at the information given by his or her child and/or demand that it be deleted.

Contact
Should you have problems, questions or suggestions, please contact the data protection manager of Bayer AG, who will be pleased to be of assistance to you. The continual development of the Internet makes appropriate matching of our Data Protection Declaration necessary from time to time. We therefore reserve the right to make such changes at any time.
